He has featured as host pianist in 2 Portuguese tv shows over 300+ episodes, and dedicates himself as well to painting, gastronomy and the esoteric arts. ‘Cruz Credo’ is La Chanson Noire’s 5th studio album: Recorded between Lisbon and Montpellier, and mastered in London by Jon Astley (The Who, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones), the new record refines the gothic mood and dark humor which define Charles Sangnoir’s work. Incorporating elements as diverse as trap, electro, metal or cabaret, as well as the usual choice of luxury guest artists, ‘Cruz Credo’ – out exactly ten years after ‘musica para os mortos’, it’s debut album – is possibly the most striking record of La Chanson Noire’s career.
